Academy Award® winner Sandra Bullock leads an all-star cast that includes Trevante Rhodes, with Sarah Paulson, and John Malkovich in #BirdBox, a compelling new thriller from Academy Award® winner Susanne Bier.
Bird Box has in many ways takes Netflix and the Internet by storm. Mainly due to the great performances by Sandra Bullock and John Malkovich, but the Netflix adaptation is based on the popular novel of the same name. As this movie unfolds we get to see the entire situation play out from a pre-end of the world, to the post-end of the world. Overall, it is a good film and worth watching. One of the more intense moments in the movie is the car ride where the survivors attempt to make it to the local grocery store by driving blindfolded. This part of the film reminded us at 812review of the similar scene in The Mist where everyone was trapped in the same type of situation.
