Stallone brings us a closing chapter to Rambo where fans get to see a tribute to the old school Rambo style violence, packaged into a new updated package. Instead of fighting a war with out of touch military generals, Rambo finds himself in the middle of human trafficking that hits home where his family becomes the victim, from the tragic kidnapping and death of his niece.
The film does touch into some real PTSD moments that I know many veterans deal with, but when Rambo snaps, it’s game on. He goes into a war against a human trafficking gang from Mexico. After killing several of the gang members responsible for his loss, he provokes them into a standoff at his farm, that does not go well for anyone. If you are looking for a good old gore fest, the only type Rambo can bring, them you will love this movie. For those who follow the series will also appreciate many throw backs in the film.
Stallone does a great job, and the movie has some beautifully shot sequences on his fathers horse farm. The action is top notch, and will have you digging tunnels in your back yard once the film ends. What was your favorite part of the movie? Let us know in the comments below.
